A huge thank you!

A few weeks ago I had an email from a reader who was cleaning out his cupboards and found a special edition of Stern magazine. It’s a photographic portfolio of Bruce Weber from February 2005 that are either going for a sizeable chunk of cash on Amazon or just plain unavailable. He thought I’d appreciate it more than he would as he hadn’t looked at it in ages.

It arrived yesterday and it’s stunning. It is filled with beautiful images from the iconic image maker, including the stunning series of the Carlson Twins nude, above. I want to say a huge thank you to you Peter, it’s an incredibly generous gift! It’s going to take pride of place in my collection!

New online gay mag

Those clever folk at DNA Magazine have just launched their online magazine DNA Mobi. It’s 75 pages of easy to navigate profiles of photographers, artists, hot men and in the case of the blonde guy leaning over the sink, a touch of testicle. I don’t know that I can handle another site to religiously follow, but I know I will.

Happy 100 to DNA

DNA launched 100 months ago and has since, from what I can tell become one of the most successful gay magazines around. Australia had had a few gay magazines in the past but DNA has managed to blast them out of the water.

This issue has some great shots of gay lifesavers, most of them I know through the mardi gras float etc and all are great guys and damn if they don’t look sexy.
