The nude version of the Kiwi All Blacks rugby team, the Nude Blacks, have had a lot of coverage on the internet for their naked rugby playing, and this is a good video of their Haka. The Haka is a traditional Maori intimidation ritual designed to scare opponents off.

As much as I love the idea of sports being played nude, I do question the logic in playing winter sports, in cold locations like New Zealand, in the nude. I know there’s lots of running around, but damn, it’s got to be uncomfortable.

With the economy forcing everyone to tighten their belts and  property prices stabilising or even dropping, it’s a tough market out there to sell beautiful luxury homes. So what does one do? Resort to the old adage of sex sells. This is a real estate advertisement for a beautiful property on Queensland’s Gold Coast. They’ve used the rather beautiful assets of Aussie model Ryan Burke who has been featured in DNA and  whom I would happily let wander around my luxury house nude anytime he liked.

How often do you look at porn and think “I’d love a body like those guys”? If you are like me, it’s fairly regularly. Well the guys at TitanMen have shared this video of two of their starts, Francois and Shay Michaels, with Shay giving us some workout tips. If anyone is qualified to give gym advice, I’d say it’s Shay. According to this video, he’s put on a lot of muscle in a few short years.

These twins are either really close or turning it on for the cameras. Either way it’s not bad.

This is the new Marriage Equality video, released today, from GetUp! The timing couldn’t be better as our Prime Minister has once again postponed a dinner with three gay couples who won the right to the dinner at an auction. The dinner was supposed to happen within a few weeks but with the participants agreement Ms Gillard pushed it back, as long as it was before the National Labor Party Conference, where marriage equality will be debated, which is next week. Unfortunately the dinner has now been postponed until the new year.

This is a beautiful video that I’ve watched many times this afternoon and cried every time. It’s so simple and represents exactly what I want. It’s not an in-your-face gay love scene or anything that the conservatives could possibly object to. It’s the same love story they claim to be protecting, just between two young men in love.

Last night Australia saw the latest winner of XFactor, the young, very likable Reece Mastin, who, once awarded, proceeded to belt out his debut “winners” single “Good Night”. It’s a really catchy and fun song, perfectly suited to a 16 year old aspiring rock start with a pop edge. The only trouble? While the lyrics are all new, the music is practically identical to P!nk’s “Raise your Glass”, right down to the drum beats before the chorus. You can almost hear P!nk singing at the same time it’s that obvious.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens about it. Twitter is full of people commenting on the similarity so it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Check out the two songs for yourself below.

Two new movies are soon to be released telling their own versions of the classic Good versus Evil tale of Snow White. Who would have known the battle of the two movies would also become a battle of good versus evil, or more accurately, good versus rubbish.

Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth looks like an amazing dark and new take on the story, possibly annoying purists who picture Snow White as a helpless thing singing to little birds in the woods. Charlize is fantastic (from the trailer) as the Wicked Queen and Chris Hemsworth could just stand there looking all rugged and buff and I’d be happy.

The second movie, Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts as the Wicket Queen looks like it couldn’t decide if it was trying to be Tim Burton crazy, Shrek funny or take itself seriously, thus failing to achieve any of them. Granted I’m only going on the trailers here, but that’s what the studios are banking on to get audiences in. Julia, please sort out that accent. It’s a bit odd.

While I’m still reeling a bit from the breakup a couple of weeks ago and there are moments when I’m really sad about it all and missing Dan very much, there are things that I’m looking at as positives. I now have more time to selfishly do what ever I want with.

One of the advantages is that now that I’m not waking up with my boyfriend, I’m trying to motivate myself to get to the gym more mornings than not. I’ve also managed to find myself a new training partner which will make me get to the gym on those mornings when I’d rather roll over and go back to sleep.

I will never look like the guys in this video, which I can cope with as nice as it would be, but getting a bit fitter and stronger again certainly wouldn’t hurt.

AussieBum have just posted this behind the scenes video from the shooting of the Rugby’s Finest Calendar in England starring the sexy and adorable James Haskill. Of course, the guys are all wearing AussieBums, which they look great in.

The things people put on youtube are a constant source of wonder. These guys sing terribly, but they are drunk and naked, so it is rather amusing.

I’m a straight guy from NYC leaving a comment. Two of my good friends are gay. They asked me to take a look at your blog tonight. I want to share a few comments regarding this topic.

First, I LOVE Australia, the country and people. I’m 36 and have been 5 times. I have traveled all corners. Thanks for the incredibly warm hospitality.

Onto the topic at hand. I learned so much from my younger brother. He is 4 years younger than me and came out to the family 5 years ago. A year before that he came out to me. I will never forget it. He called me late one night and needed a ride, not to his place, but mine. He and some friends were leaving a party and a couple of guys beat up a couple of them, including my brother. Both eyes blackened, a few cuts, bruises all over. It wasn’t until we were back at my place and I had cleaned him up that the story came out. I had always wondered if he was gay, but it was something we just couldn’t talk about in my family. He was straight acting, athletic, made straight A’s, but never dated a girl and never talked about girls. That evening he had been out with some of his gay friends to dinner, then to a party. A car stopped and a couple of guys started to harass them. I will never forget him sitting on the living room floor next to me telling me this… and telling me he was gay. It still brings tears to my eyes. He means the world to me and I could not bare (sp) the thought of people beating him up over his sexual orientation. That night I assured him how much I loved him and I vowed to myself to learn everything I could about homosexuality and to support him as he came out to our family.

Fast forward to today. I am fortunate to have a lot of friends. But I’d say about 7 are in my really close circle, those that I tell everything and can depend on for anything. Two of them are the guys who showed me this blog tonight. I believe through this experience with my brother I have become extremely comfortable with my own sexuality and my ability to emotionally relate to both sexes. I love my male friends, but I do not want to sleep with them. I jacked off several times with buds in college, but didn’t want to suck their dicks. Of course I check out handsome well built, well hung guys, but I don’t want have sex with them. And by the way, women check out big breasted women all the time. Yes, I buzz up my bush and shave my balls – so I’m a metrosexual, not a homosexual. And yes, the guys at the gym I work out at, Equinox, check me out, but I don’t care because if I were gay I’d discreetly check out guys I was interested in too… especially if they were naked in the locker room!

I agree there are some gay guys who are always trying to argue that some straight guy is gay. I believe that a lot of straight guys are not comfortable with their sexuality and don’t know how to express it. And I believe there are some gay guys who are always looking for “the clue” that a guy is gay so that they can either justify their existance or win the toaster. :)

A while back, googling away and reminiscing about my holiday in Kakadu National Park two years ago, I stumbled across the website of Lorella Springs in the Northern Territory. The camping area and waterhole are clothing optional, but Lorella Springs is more than just a campground. It is a huge working cattle station over a million acres.

I’m just curious if any of my intrepid readers have been up to Lorella Springs and what they might have to say about it?

I’m sure some fans will say it shouldn’t have happened without Andy Whitfield in the lead, but the team behind Spartacus have released the trailer for the upcoming season “Vengeance” picking up where season one left off.

Hollywood is never going to give up on a good money making series just because someone (very sadly) died, and there is a long tradition of people stepping into the shoes of a former cast member. Bewitched had two Darren’s after all. I for one am keen to see how this series pans out, especially since Lucrecia makes an appearance even though she was killed at the end of the first series. Of course the main reason a lot of people watch it is for the amount of very toned buff flesh on display.
