Now, just because that last post was depressing and scary, here’s a gorgeous man standing around looking pretty. It’s fitness model James Ellis shooting his calendar. Enjoy the creamy goodness!

I’m about to head to a friend’s place for dinner but I thought I’d quickly post this for you all… I was tempted to see if there was a way to put it on loop so that Andreas just kept taking them off and putting them on… What would we do without aussieBum?
Here’s the video for you all. It’s a strange angle to see yourself do silks from. My friends were watching from up on the balcony of the nightclub. There’s one bit when I do a straddle up and basically moon all my friends, sorry folks!
WE finally have some stuff circulating from the 2009 Dieux Du Stade calendar. Check out this video from behind the scenes, especially around the 1:52 mark where, for fans of twins, there are nude twins, hugging! The 2009 Calendar is shot by Peter Lindbergh and they’ve gone back to simple setups in a return to the kind of imagery that made the 2004 version so famous. Love it.

This is just a reminder for you all to get working on your Aussielicious Film Festival entries. We’ve only had one so far. You’ve got a month to get them in and I’m expecting some great ones, given the creativity I see out there in the blog world. It could be something like the one below, but maybe with a bit more storyline? Who knows, your interpretation of the word Aussielicious is up to you.
The U.S. version of Make Me a Supermodel seems to have been so much cooler than our bland, undercooked stew of mediocrity. Sure Tyson was here for a bit but now we are left with episodes where nothing really seems to happen apart from a bunch of bitching and an average photoshoot.
Why can’t they be like this. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rhys and Billy and Isaac getting down like this. It’s funny how the boys keep playing gay in this clip even after the shoot has ended. Very cute.
From the people that brought you the Naked For a Cause calendar comes the Gods of Football, the next installment of hot footballers not wearing much at all and beautifully photographed. The calendar is available now I believe… so what are you waiting for?
We have the first entry. I have a sneaking suspicion that Jim may have had this footage already and tweaked it to fit the competition but it’s definitely a valid entry. Thanks Jim. Out of the entries submitted by the deadline in a bit over a month’s time, I’ll choose 5 finalists for the winner to be voted by me. I’m yet to determine a prize, but I’m working on it!
Damn those folks over at aussieBum! They keep coming out with stuff that I don’t need, but really want. The new Parallel range is modelled by the same guy we saw in the Vintage range of undies. Would you believe he’s only 19? And he’s one of the Gladiators here in Australia. How do you look like that at 19? I personally blame the steroids in the chickens, but where do you get them?
And I love what the pouch is doing up front!
I’m throwing down a new challenge. There are so many talented, creative, witty, bizarre people out there and these days just about everyone has access to a webcam, video camera or even a phone with video capability. So, inspired by the likes of Scenic Boys who make great videos and the myriad of quirky and beautiful things on youtube, I’m holding the first annual Aussielicious Film Festival.
I want you all to send in your videos, preferably uploaded to Youtube or Dailymotion, making them embeddable so I can post them here. They need to come in under two minutes. The theme? I want you to make a short film that captures your personal definition or understanding of the word Aussielicious. I don’t mean this blog, just the word and what it means to you. Below is one of the ways I interpret Aussielicious, it’s me, and it’s nude and it’s the Aussie sunshine.
Here are the rules. It must be under two minutes, contain no explicit content (ie hard ons), be submitted by midnight Friday 31 October Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time and be entertaining. Entries will be posted on Aussielicious for the world to see.
We haven’t started making plans yet but a couple of friends and I are almost certainly going to Burning Man 09. Another friend has just been to this year’s event and said it’s just wild. SO I’ve just done a quick search for videos on youtube of this year’s event. This guy has taken some really cool photos and put them all together. Enjoy.
I’ve been an athletic and sporting person for my entire life. Dabbling in lots of sports, excelling in none but holding my own. Swimming has been the predominant one but there’s been tennis, rowing, gymnastics as well as rock climbing and other bits and pieces.
One thing I’ve never done is have any formal dance lessons and watching So You Think You Can Dance is just so inspiring and beautiful. For people to have that much control over their bodies and to be able to move with such grace is gorgeous and awe inspiring. I will admit to being more drawn to the slightly quirkier routines. Ballroom and Latin do nothing for me.
We don’t have anything like this in Sydney which I think is a terrible shame. Leave it to those clever New Yorkers.
There’s no other reason to post this video, other than it’s just full of the delicious Leighton Stultz.
Good Monday morning to you all!
I know everyone else has blogged this but because I’m a total romantic, I’m blogging it too.
