Thank goodness for the internet. If it weren’t for the wonders of technology I’m pretty sure I’d never have seen this music video from a German singer called Jay Khan. In the video Jay leaves his house but as he walks down the street he proceeds to take off all his clothes so that by the end he’s completely naked. He even shaves his head in the video and it is real.

There are flashes to a chorus of nude figures singing as well and at the end of the video our nude protagonist is standing amongst them. It’s pretty safe to say that this video wouldn’t be aired in Australia and certainly not in the U.S. There’s no full frontal nudity but since the U.S. tv blurs out butt crack in “Survivor” this video would just be a screen full of flesh coloured blur.

I have no idea what the song is about, but it’s called “Nackt” which is German for Naked. I’m guessing there’s more to it than that but I thought it was a brave video.

A little while ago I posted about a naked bike ride through the streets of Melbourne. This video has just turned up on vimeo, a timelapse of the event. Love it.

Sydney-siders that take part in the World Naked Bike Ride aren’t actually allowed to be naked, but apparently in Melbourne that isn’t the case.

Cycling, as their global counterparts do, to protest about emissions, 150+ cyclists took to the streets of Melbourne and road their way through the city on 6th March in what looks like beautiful sunny weather!

I wonder if Sydney will ever be allowed to ride completely naked.

So, a bunch of mates go riding down the street on their bicycles. One has a video camera. What do you do? Of course there is usually one in every crowd, with my friends probably more than one, who will take his clothes off. To do it while riding down the street in broad daylight is pretty cool and a bit of a perve for us. The tricks he does at the end of the video are very cool. I don’t know that I’d brave them nude but each to their own.

I have no idea where this is but it looks like great fun. Whenever you see photos of a naked surfer there only seems to be the one amongst a handful of other surfers on beaches like Black’s Beach in San Diego but here all the surfers in what looks like a surf competition are nude. Looks fantastic. I’m still yet to try it.

When Ministry of Sound turned 18, they wanted to celebrate and they wanted to do it in a cheeky 18+ rated kind of way. No, they didn’t venture into porn but they did film people stripping off and “Streaking” in a studio then project it from a moving car so that they were indeed streaking through the streets. I love that not one person seems to be shocked or offended.

My friends probably wouldn’t be so willing to be videoed while snowboarding nude but doesn’t this look like a whole bunch of fun?

You all know I love seeing guys enjoying relaxed nudity together. What I like even more is when it’s in a slightly out of context together. Firemen all showering together after a long day fighting fires isn’t that out of context at all, but doing it outdoors using the fire hose as the shower makes it really cool, although I have to say that the pressure might be a bit much for li’l old me.

There’s one point in this video where the guy being hosed is bending over. That made me shudder at the thought of a super douching. Cool video though.

From a practicality perspective or a danger perspective, some sports are much more nude friendly than others. Rugby at first glance would seem a bit hazardous, but those guys always seem to be stripping off. Maybe it’s more of a camaraderie thing that overcomes any normal limitations.

Rowing is a sport that seems to encourage nudity although having done rowing, your junk could get caught between your legs which could be a bit risky. I know when I was rowing surf boats, at the time the nude surfing competition was being held annually in Bondi, my crew and I were going to row nude into the middle of the competition one year. Due to a complete lack of surf where we’d been competing we figured the competiton would abandoned so accordingly abandoned plans to row into it. Sadly for us, they did have the competition and we missed our chance.

One of Australia’s Olympic gold medal winning rowing crews was rumored to have been quite partial to rowing nude back to their home club nude if they were competing on the same stretch of water. Bring back the ancient style of Olympics I say.

A reader sent me this video of University of Chicago’s Polar Bear Run. I’m not sure if it’s an annual event or not but it looks like fun. I do think it’s cheating a bit to run in underwear. It may be cold but you aren’t showing anything you wouldn’t at the beach in summer so I say let the nudies get the attention!

I’m a big fan of slapstick humour, so if I see videos of people running into things or falling over, then I’m probably going to laugh, as long as they aren’t injured. I’ve also provided many opportunities for people to laugh at me, thankfully though most of them have escaped recording.

This guy is trying to streak a night game of tennis but isn’t quite paying enough attention. His friend with the video camera clearly isn’t too concerned.

This blog first gained popularity when I posted shots of myself naked on the steps of the Sydney Opera House as part of a public nudity challenge. I’ve tried holding the challenge again but have had ever diminishing results each time.

Yes I’m a nudist and like being nude in sanctioned or appropriate places but there is something kinda thrilling about being nude where you shouldn’t be. Now I don’t get off on it in a sexual way and I am not brave enough to be too bold like some guys I know. I’m just too scared of having to call someone to bail me out of jail. There is an adrenaline rush with a bit of cheeky nudity though, like the skinny dips that we’ve had here. Nothing too dangerous and the kinds of places that people would probably laugh if they caught us, not report us.

Having said that, up to a point I admire some people who are brave enough to streak popular places or, like some friends of mine, do a nudie lap around the car while they are at traffic lights then get back in and drive off.

For all of you in the northern hemisphere having a white christmas and experiencing cold conditions I’m hoping some of you take advantage of the situation and brave a nude snow angel or snow fight. I’d love to do something like that if I had the chance but Sydney today is 28 degrees celsius and blue sky for miles. I’m certainly not complaining. I’m leaving town today for 3 nights in the countryside with friends for a very low key new year’s eve.

Sadly there won’t be any nudity. They are friends who fit in the category of “not getting nude with”. Strange how that works.

I know a lot of guys are into public nudity whether they want to be seen or not, the thrill of being nude in a place you aren’t supposed to is quite exhilarating. Sometimes I come across photos that baffle me just a touch. Public nudity is one thing, but dangerous heights as well could lead to a very awkward obituary.

This young guy seems to feel inclined to stripping by his local river. Not so unusual, but climbing all over the under side of the bridge, while nude? Probably not something I’d be doing for kicks, but it makes for some interesting photos.

So you get to your last ever day of high school. It means no more bells telling you when you can eat, stand, talk etc. You have freedom now to pursue the real you. What do you do on the last day to celebrate? You organise a few friends, in different cars, with various filming devises. Then you ride to school for 4 miles, as you have done every day, except today you do it nude!

Not many high school students are this gutsy. This guy is brave. The weather is rainy and dangerous, not sure how cold it was, and then of course the other thing he’s done, is post it on the internet!
