Well from the flood of World naked bike ride pics that are coming into my email from various yahoo groups, I’m guessing the northern hemisphere had their turn just recently. Sadly here in Australia we can’t actually get entirely naked from what I understand, which kinda defeats the purpose. Australia’s not quite naked bike ride doesn’t quite have the same impact. I’d love to hear that I’m wrong on this one. I’d also love to see less cars and more cyclists on Sydney’s roads.
A regular contributer to the nudity challenges on this blog has been Matt from NYC Dancer Boy. As you can see, dancing does indeed keep you very fit! Nice work Matt. Thanks for sharing your images. They were taken in a local state park.

This is Bill, the first of the Public Nudity Challenge entries for 2008. I don’t know where Bill was when he took this, apart from on the snow. And if that thing is suffering from shrinkage, holy hell I’d be interested to see that in warm weather. So Bill, how long did you ski naked for?
It’s been a while since we’ve done what gave this blog it’s initial notoriety. So for the northern summer of 2008 I’m bringing back the public nudity challenge. The first run of the challenge was the most successful and most fun and it’s time to do it again. There are loads of examples in the archives of the old version of the blog including me nude on the Opera House steps.
For new players, the idea is to get a photo nude in a public or unexpected place. I won’t publish any erection photos. With my current financial situation, I won’t be giving a prize this year unfortunately and I’m leaving the creativity up to you. If there are any sports teams that want to do a group shot I’d love it, or even some families/brothers? Keep it fun, and I take no responsibility for any arrests!

Ingo here sent me an email the other day. He’s just discovered Aussielicious and is working from the very start of the old incarnation and came across the nudity challenge.
It seems Ingo isn’t shy at all and these photos were taken one day walking along the Unter Den Lindon in Berlin towards the Brandenburg Gate with other nude friends. He tells me there were about a dozen of them and they walked at least a kilometre along the road (a VERY busy one in the heart of Berlin) before a policeman asked them to get dressed. I LOVE it. In Sydney, they would have been arrested! Congratulations Ingo!
An Alderman in Amsterdam has announced plans to legalise gay-sex in a public park, essentially because it’s always going to happen regardless of legality.
“Amsterdam’s beautiful Vondelpark in the centre of city draws hordes of summer visitors, families, skaters and joggers. But the park’s rose garden has become famous as a trysting spot for gay men looking for uncomplicated sexual encounters.” Check out the full article here.
Greg here sent in this pic for the winter challenge. He’s submitted pictures to Aussielicious a long time ago and been kind enough to do it again in obviously chilly circumstances! I’m actually not sure where Greg is, but while it looks cold, it looks very beautiful!

This photo intrigues me. There’s a guy out there on a board riding the waves nude, which is something that I’ve always wanted to do but there is a guy in a full length wetsuit which in my experience tends to suggest that the water is cold. Unless of course he’s feeling a bit body conscious and wanted some support.
It makes me wonder what the guy in the wetsuit thought when the nude guy paddled past. I know it’s not uncommon for a few mates to have a bit of a nude surf for a laugh, but imagine being the other guy. I think it should be encouraged.

We haven’t had a winter nudity submission for a while now. It can’t possibly be that warm just yet in the northern hemisphere!
I’m not sure who these guys are training nude on the beach, and I don’t know who is making them do it, but I think it’s a sterling idea. As someone who has spent many many hours on the beach, being nude, no matter what you are doing, is the best option. You won’t get blisters on your feet from sand in your shoes, nor anywhere else! Of course the next logical step is to shower together.
