A few months ago my boyfriend and I went along to a party thrown by Trashy Events and had a hilariously fun night. Everyone went to a lot of trouble to get dressed up and there were some great costumes. Well those lovely folks are having another party called Halloween Whores. Go to the Trashy Events site to get the details and buy tickets and come and dance up a storm with us.

I’m trying to refine my costume this week. One of my burning man outfits is getting another run but with added accessories, and underwear this time!

We are now a couple of weeks past Mardi Gras and there are people already itching for another party. The Sydney Stingers, our gay waterpolo team have the perfect way to send off the end of summer with their inaugural Pool Party.

Organised in conjunction with DJ Dan Murphy, the Stingers are presenting a huge lineup of DJ’s including  Alex Taylor, Chip, Adam Love, Keenan , Jake Kilby, Troy Cox, Dan Murphy, Kate Monroe and special performances throughout the afternoon/evening.

The party is on Sunday 3rd April at the Ivy Pool Club & Changeroom Bar from Midday until 10pm. I’ll be there so come along and support the Stingers and say hi!

Last night was the combined 40th birthdays of two of my very dear friends who are also a couple. The party was filled with a very eclectic mix of guys, who, along with the third birthday boy, a vast portion of, had slept with each other. A few people at the party were on a mission to find me a husband but I left without one solitary pash but definitely not disappointed. It was a brilliant night filled with a HEAP of good mates and lots of laughs and apparently several vodkas.

For a room full of gay men with a very tangled web of previous sexual and dating histories I was very pleasantly surprised at a total lack of drama and an abundance of very big smiles and warmth. I guess it shows what great friends these two guys are. Love em to bits.

This year, if you are looking for an alternative to Harbour Party, come and support the new kid on the block. Bondi Boys have been having regular drinks over summer but Sunday 1st March sees their debut dance party in the Bondi Pavillion. It’s a great location and a great venue. When you’ve danced yourself stupid for a while, head across the sand and jump in the water to cool off before doing it all again!
