The nude version of the Kiwi All Blacks rugby team, the Nude Blacks, have had a lot of coverage on the internet for their naked rugby playing, and this is a good video of their Haka. The Haka is a traditional Maori intimidation ritual designed to scare opponents off.

As much as I love the idea of sports being played nude, I do question the logic in playing winter sports, in cold locations like New Zealand, in the nude. I know there’s lots of running around, but damn, it’s got to be uncomfortable.

With the economy forcing everyone to tighten their belts and  property prices stabilising or even dropping, it’s a tough market out there to sell beautiful luxury homes. So what does one do? Resort to the old adage of sex sells. This is a real estate advertisement for a beautiful property on Queensland’s Gold Coast. They’ve used the rather beautiful assets of Aussie model Ryan Burke who has been featured in DNA and  whom I would happily let wander around my luxury house nude anytime he liked.

Todd Sanfield is a model that has been very popular with the gay blogs since he first appeared on the cover of DNA a few years ago. I was certainly impressed. So impressed that I bought the same speedos he was wearing on the cover.

These days Todd is still very popular and it seems wearing even less. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of him wearing anything more than underwear or swimwear. With a body like that, why would you. He’s definitely not shy, with the more recent DNA shoot being borderline porn with hint of somewhat fluffed cock tantalisingly visible.

Now that Todd has launched his own underwear label I wonder if there is a conflict of interest and he’ll ONLY be shooting nudes from now on if it’s not his own underwear. He’s certainly gaining plenty of exposure from it all but as a model I wonder if it’s a bit pigeon-holing only doing the one style of modelling?

Who am I kidding? I rarely shoot guys wearing anything so models like Todd are a godsend.

How often do you look at porn and think “I’d love a body like those guys”? If you are like me, it’s fairly regularly. Well the guys at TitanMen have shared this video of two of their starts, Francois and Shay Michaels, with Shay giving us some workout tips. If anyone is qualified to give gym advice, I’d say it’s Shay. According to this video, he’s put on a lot of muscle in a few short years.

These twins are either really close or turning it on for the cameras. Either way it’s not bad.

Today on Twitter, I came across the twitter profile of the cute guy in the absolutely adorable “It’s Time” video that I posted that has swept across the world with it’s simple romantic charm. Keep in mind, this post is based on some very brief and unintrusive online stalking on facebook and twitter.

Julian Shaw is a film maker, a director, an actor, a blogger, a journalist and from what I can see a very driven guy. He’s produced a photographic novel, a feature film, done some public speaking and now he’s jumped to our attention as the face of GetUp’s fight to end Marriage Discrimination.

So who is he? Well, I have no idea. I do know that a lot of people will assume he’s gay because of his involvement with the GetUp video. I haven’t seen any proof of that on the bits of his facebook profile that I can see, nor his twitter. So I’m going to break it down in two possible ways.

One. Julian is a gay man that is fighting for equality, putting himself out there to achieve what he thinks is fair and just, but he’s also breaking a few stereotypes. He seems to have quite a macho obsession with Rugby Union and would fit the “straight acting” stereotype. Most of the “straight acting” types that I’ve met are terrified of being perceived as being gay, so Julian is defying that one.

The second option is that Julian is a straight man. One of those fantastic straight men that is fighting our fight right there along side us, and a good few steps in front of a lot of us. Some of the “gay mafia” would have us believe that if he’s identifying as straight now he’ll come out soon enough, but I say if he’s straight, then he is our best ally. We need straight people like Ben Cohen and David Pocock standing up and shouting to the world that it’s not just gay people who think they deserve equality.

Either way, Julian has set an example that most of us would do well to follow and ultimately, does it matter which team he’s on?

If you ever want motivation to completely overhaul your diet and exercise regime, your beauty regime and your swimwear collection, then I strongly suggest you get yourself along to a DNA Pool Party early. I arrived at the Ivy Pool bar on Saturday afternoon, not long after the party opened as I only had a few hours before I had to head off, which meant it was myself, a couple of other early arrivals, some DNA staff and the models. Lots of models.

Like most parties, people congregated with people they identified with. What did that mean to me on Saturday? It meant I was sitting near the bar within easy viewing distance of an extremely intimidating cluster of hot.

Shortly after the crowds started pouring in, in direct proportion to the speed the clouds disappeared and the beautiful blazing sun came out to make the water sparkle, the teeth shine and the oiled up tanned flesh of the models glisten. There was a fashion parade of tiny swimwear hosted by the gorgeous and lovely Will Fennell, assisted by Brodie. The music was perfect, the crowd was all mingling and laughing and the sun was blazing. When I left, it was all good and by all reports, it stayed exactly like that.

While I’m still reeling a bit from the breakup a couple of weeks ago and there are moments when I’m really sad about it all and missing Dan very much, there are things that I’m looking at as positives. I now have more time to selfishly do what ever I want with.

One of the advantages is that now that I’m not waking up with my boyfriend, I’m trying to motivate myself to get to the gym more mornings than not. I’ve also managed to find myself a new training partner which will make me get to the gym on those mornings when I’d rather roll over and go back to sleep.

I will never look like the guys in this video, which I can cope with as nice as it would be, but getting a bit fitter and stronger again certainly wouldn’t hurt.

Remember that cute, dorky little kid that tries to impress Jerry Maguire with his knowledge of the human head weighing 8 pounds? Well this his him all grown up. Jonathon Lipnicki is now 21 and can go out drinking. It doesn’t look like he does though. Booze kills a good six pack, which I am living proof of and this guy has a great six pack. Maybe this “child star” will avoid a drug problem and multiple arrests?

I’m sure some fans will say it shouldn’t have happened without Andy Whitfield in the lead, but the team behind Spartacus have released the trailer for the upcoming season “Vengeance” picking up where season one left off.

Hollywood is never going to give up on a good money making series just because someone (very sadly) died, and there is a long tradition of people stepping into the shoes of a former cast member. Bewitched had two Darren’s after all. I for one am keen to see how this series pans out, especially since Lucrecia makes an appearance even though she was killed at the end of the first series. Of course the main reason a lot of people watch it is for the amount of very toned buff flesh on display.

This video really captured my attention when I saw it yesterday. I’ve posted in the past that I love dance photography. Taking movement and freezing it in a visually pleasing way is really hard to do but when it’s done well at just the right time, it’s gorgeous.

I have a vague concept of how this might have been done, but that’s as far as it goes. However it’s been done, I love it. Water and moving bodies nearly always look beautiful and this is no exception.

One of the hardest things when you are an amateur photographer is trying to find people willing to model for you. Gay men always seem to want more time to get into shape. Even the guys with god-like bodies want more time and say they are too fat.

LeBeau Foto is rebelling against the airbrushed and retouched perfection in his new project. He is shooting guys in natural, available light only and is not retouching a single thing on the models. The result is a set of images that are natural and elegant and honest. The guys still look fantastic but aren’t intimidating or unattainable about it.

This is a purely gratuitous post featuring the pure beefcake of Joe Manganiello with a busty lady-friend enjoying the waters of Hawaii.

As we all know, Joe plays Alcide the werewolf in True Blood and as a result loses his clothes a lot. This is a fact that we are not at all disappointed about or troubled by. Joe is set to lose all his clothes in the upcoming flesh-a-thon movie about a bunch of male strippers based on Channing Tatum’s early days making a living shaking his groove thing. Joe has said there isn’t any full frontal but very little is left to the imagination.

Just how ridiculously hard is it to maintain a body like that?

Who would have known that growing up in America’s Midwest means you like a good hug? I never did, but that’s what I’ve learnt from an interview with Kellan Lutz. The other thing I learnt is that gay men are all neat and he’d rather live with a gay man because we keep the place tidy. I beg to differ on that one Kellan. My boyfriend will attest to the fact that my room is usually a mess. But we’re going to let that slide because Kellan loves us.

What else did we learn from Kellan? We learnt that he goes to spas and is happy chilling out nude in the hot tub and has mediocre gaydar. The fact that Kellan was sitting nude in a hot tub with a guy he didn’t know at the time was hitting on him but is totally fine with it is fantastic.

Of course the cynical blogger in me thinks a lot of this could be good press to win over an audience that might be just as happy if he never said a word as long as he keeps his shirt off. But I will take it at face value. Kellan loves the gays!

In this cheeky promo for U.S. TV network The CW, they use their hunky male stars to promote the fact that they are doing their bit for global warming, and also saving on costume budgets by making the male stars perform shirtless. Of course it’s a gratuitous method to get the ladies and us gay men to watch them. It sounds like a good plan to me.
