I’ve posted about Confest before but have recently been discussing it with a friend who has been and it sounds like a very hippy small Aussie version of Burning Man with drumming circles, body painting, fire twirling workshops, massage workshops and even a sweat box tent and mud bath. It’s a ten hour drive from Sydney apparently out near Deniliquin in South Western New South Wales. I’d love to her fom any readers that have been who can let me know what it’s like.
Some friends want to go up to Tropical Fruits for New Years but I don’t think I do, I wanna do something different than another dance party. Sure TF is in a beautiful area but it’s a lot of the same faces and dance parties aren’t really my thing. I will happily go along if that’s what my friends decide but I’m going to aim for getting covered in mud out in the bush with hippies!
