I don’t have a lot to type today after a long day at work and a dinner out. I’m tired so I thought I’d finish this day by posting a video someone has put together of Gilles Marini, the naked neighbour in the Sex and the City movie. Last night’s little venture into the world of anonymous sex venues was a rare one for me and nearly didn’t happen. I was tired and not very sexy but after having something to eat when I got home and a nice hot shower and doing my grooming I decided I should go. I ended up being quite a tramp which was exactly what I needed. There was one guy that just would not take no for an answer and every time I passed him in the corridoor or steam room he would go the grope. Eventually, after trying to be polite I told him to fuck off.
At the end of my visit I was chatting to a guy I know there who does massage at the venue and the other guy behind the counter, who had seen me walking around with a hard on and stuff, asks me “Do you have a blog?” Damn, that still takes some getting used to, especially in a situation like that. Then I got home and someone a bit later posted a comment on my post about going to the bathouse saying “That was a great shag tonight - cheers.” I don’t know if that is for real or someone having a laugh, but at least it’s a good review, but why not say something at the time? Too funny.
Madonna has gone and done it to us again. According to DNA Magazine, when asked if she would include Australia on the Sticky and Sweet tour Her Madgesty replied “It’s the least I can do.” Apparently it’s not the least she could do. The least she could do is not bother once more to show her appreciation to the hundreds of thousands of Aussies that have supported her ego through all these years of musical ups and downs and mutton dressed as lamb fashion choices.
I’m sure she’ll come up with a sterling reason for not coming this time. The reason the Confessions tour didn’t make it was because her children needed to get back to school. Yeah right, like those spoilt indulged brats aren’t home schooled anyway. We may not have a huge population down here but every other tour manages to make it down here, although we are still waiting for news on Kylie… tick tock tick tock.
Every week on his Sunday night show, Rove asks his celebrity guests who they would turn gay for at the end of their interviews. Most laugh, some nervously, and others quite eagerly join in the game and come up with someone. On Sunday night he had the boys from “The Chaser” a comedy show on and this video is the response to the usual question. It’s hilarious. All these boys are straight! Thanks to Emackinations for bringing it to my attention.
Following the Californian court ruling to overturn the ban on gay marriage I just saw this on Ellen and it made me get a bit teary with happiness. Ellen seems like such an amazing person. All the very best to Ellen and Portia.
Woody Harrelson has been spending time with Owen Wilson hanging out in Miami Bay. Apparently Woody has been a shoulder for Owen since his suicide attempt last year. Owen wasn’t as brave as ol’ Woody here, who is looking in fine shape at the age of 46. He says “Every day I swim, I surf, climb coconut trees, play with my kids, eat mangoes. There’s no form to it, which I kind of like” and we applaud his efforts.
After enjoying a dip in Miami Bay, Harrelson climbed out of the Atlantic for a naked work-out on his private dock. Nice work. Surely celebrities expect long-lens camera men to be nearby, so I admire Woody’s lack of modesty!
So it looks like they are making a movie of GI-Joe starring Channing Tatum. Channing is one very sexy guy and I’ve posted about him a couple of times before, but when I think of GI-Joe, action hero superstar savior of the world, I think of someone a bit beefier. I’m sure he’ll do a great job and he’ll definitely look sexy. Who would you like to see as GI-Joe?
Luke McFarlane from Brothers & Sisters has officially come out after much speculation. He chose an interview with Canadas Globe & Mail to end the speculation.
“Though no secret to his family and close friends, Macfarlane has, until now, been guarded about his personal life as a gay man. Over lunch in Los Angeles, where he lives, he initially insists that he has no concerns about his public revelation - but a few seconds later he is shifting nervously in his chair, and concedes that he is ‘terrified.’ … ‘I don’t know what will happen professionally … that is the fear, but I guess I can’t really be concerned about what will happen, because it’s my truth.”
I’m genuinely pleased that more and more actors are coming out and I hope that it shows a growing acceptance and understanding by the wider community. Now we just need to wait and see if these actors are given straight roles or typecast as the gay friend.
This is Damian Walshe Howling. He’s a hot little pocket rocket Aussie actor. He got his break in a cop show set in the australian country and from what I can gather has done a fair bit of theatre work since. He’s now in a series based on the true-life story of Melbourne Gangland warfare, playing a sexy hitman for hire.
