It’s been a while since the last photography challenge and like a bad blogger and challenge host I’ve only just sent the winner his print last week. There were some issues with getting it all sorted on my behalf and I apologise to the winner! Now that it’s all done and dusted though, it’s time to get creative again. This one is going to be challenging and I hope everyone gets creative! The theme this time is PORTRAITS.

Why is this challenging? It’s challenging because ultimately the winning image will be hanging in the home of someone that most likely knows neither the photographer nor the subject of the portrait so it has to be so beautiful and/or so creative that they want it on their wall despite not knowing who it is.

As usual the entries are limited to one per person and you need to be able to provide a print if you win of good quality at about 8 x 10″ in size. Email your submissions to me at by the end of this month (June 2014). I’m looking forward to seeing how creative you can all be. Remember portraits don’t have to be just a headshot. Be creative and interpret it how you feel best suits the subject. Try and capture their spirit or personality in the shot.
