Part of what I love about living in Sydney is the things it puts on to enjoy and do, a lot of it for free. There are free concerts that get tens of thousands of people in the park, there is the annual arts festival, the annual Biennale and the Vivid lights festival. I went along on Wednesday night with my family to wander around Circular Quay and the area being used for the Vivid festival. There are lighting installations and lighting projections on to buildings. The famous sails of the Opera House become a huge blank projection canvas for all sorts of whimsical imagery. This video is just put together from bits and pieces I filmed on my iPhone so it’s hardly expert camera work nor quality, but it gives you an idea.
