Tomorrow is Australia’s National Day, very originally called Australia Day. It’s traditionally a day of barbecues, beach and beers. The lovely and gorgeous Dan Murphy has recruited the lovely and gorgeous Matthew Mitcham to combine their musical talents and put together this tribute to Australia by mashing up 18 different classic Aussie songs with Matt on the ukelele and Dan on keyboard and the two of them harmonising and hamming it up a treat for us all. As with Nat, I too, wish you a Happy Australia Day. Canada Day used to be called Dominion Day but under the Liberals and the late Pierre Trudeau it became Canada Day. I have issues with that but not here. Enjoy the beach, the barbie, all your wonderful Australian wines and the beauty that is Australia.
