“He’s not my boyfriend, he’s my husband!”

My mate Rick and his lovely husband Daniel, who is currently touring Australia in the production of South Pacific, have done an interview for Samesame with the ever fabulous Kate Cebrano. Kate is Daniel’s co-star in the show and sometime tv presenter. These guys are totally sweet and lovely and you can tell when they are together that they adore each other. It really does make you ask the question of the religious and bigoted conservatives that think gay marriage will ruin the fabric of society, how can a happy committed loving couple like this do any damage?

Marriage has to do with love, not gender!

For the ones who can’t read Dutch
Rick, it’s great that you have found the man of your dreams, even though I understood from the interview that it was actually the other way around. I hope that Australia now also comes with legal recognition, so that equality finally ends up in a Bill of Rights. Now, 112 years after the birth of the Commonwealth of Australia, there is still no Bill of Rights, or at least a single document that contains this information.
