Being half of a couple is new territory for me and a bit of a fun learning curve. My boyfriend works some crazy hours at times and rarely has an entire weekend off. We were talking about a weekend away somewhere and it will have to be planned a fair way out to make sure he is free.
I started looking at cabins or cottages in the mountains for a weekend and got wondering if there is any need to check whether a place is gay friendly or not? Most places within a couple of hours from Sydney would surely be expected to have a fairly basic level of acceptance if only for business reasons.
Being a typical Libran, I hate conflict so would hate to have to argue with whoever runs the place if they happen to not approve of a gay couple coming to their establishment. It’s not a huge concern but I was just wondering if there is an etiquette involved when you book somewhere that isn’t booked for it’s gay friendly nature.
