I love this kind of time lapse video. When life is passing you by and you get stuck in the detail of the day you miss the bigger picture. One thing with this video that amazes me is who has the spare camera to leave in the one spot for 12 months without moving it?

I read once that a photographer who did something similar received permission to bury some sort of metal plate in the ground. Then every week would visit and attach their camera or tripod to the plate and shoot, thus getting a years worth of footage without leaving the camera in the wild for a year.
