    Brenton….
WOW! What an incredible website. I can’t believe in all of my years that I haven’t heard of it. It is one of the best public outlets for a coming out story I have found. I have always been drawn to stories of other gay men’s coming out stories and comparing them to mine. I know that I had it relatively easy because I didn’t come out until after college graduation (even being engaged to be married….which was finally the deciding factor…I would rather hurt her now than going through the wedding and hurting her later.)
As alway Brenton, thank you for all that you do and all that you are. I have never understood why some mate down under hasn’t snagged you as a “keeper” because in my book you are and you posess the attribute of making a wonderful life partner.
    Peace my friend….

I have also been watching MorMenLikeMe’s youtube channel, similar to I’m from Driftwood but these are guys who have had the added burden of religious condemnation added to the social pressure. Most of them are early 30′s and have had a decade or more trying to make family & church happy to arrive at a point where they leave the church and live there lives as gay men. Clark says that he was engaged with a young guy in the church who had contacted him for advise and support, only to commit suicide, and that decided him on putting this up on the web to help other young gay guys see that it is possible to be gay and happy. I felt a real affinity with Jason, but he is my type so that probably why here’s the link.

Absoultely wonderful!I live in eastern Pennsylvania, USA and Bloomsburg University is about 2 hours north from where I live. What is interesting about this is that “Bloom” has a reputation for being an extremely wild school. there is constant friction between the town people and the students. It is in a way out in the country and one would expect a very conservative area. You might expect this kind of story from a more urban school like one of the universities in Philadelphia, but not Bloomsburg. There is hope for the future.
I am going to pass this along to a friend who is a Bloom alumni.

Wow what a site. That was really inspirational story, and goes to show that it is possible to live in a world of tolerance, even if it is a small part of the world.
