I know a couple of bodybuilders and I would say, it has to be one of the most vain sports around. It is a sport solely and entirely devoted to how you look. I would also hazard a guess that, even for the straight guys, it’s about as gay as you can get. Sure it’s devoted to muscles and a perceived ideal of masculinity but it’s so waxed, fake tanned and preened it’s beyond belief. How many “straight” sports actually encourage straight men to wear very little and to look at other straight men and their bodies with a very keen eye.
This photo above made me laugh. Just how close to another man’s crotch can you get with fake tan before you feel a little gay?

Next time they just have to line-up naked so they can get spray painted. That way all can have a good look at the other “muscle” which is in this sport not important. ;-)
The next time you see guys in this industry – check em out with all the things you wouldn’t want them to have on. They take their jobs seriously and I appreciate that because they all take great care of their bodies and the way they come across to people. Are they vain? mayb maybe not….They r certainly wanting to be memorable though.
A roller??
lovely shade of conker
I have a friend who is a competitive bodybuilder and, because I used to compete myself, he has me help him with his precontest prepping. That includes shaving him down and putting his Pro-Tan on. The process starts about 3-4 days before each show and involves him standing naked in front of me with everything exposed and hanging out so I can make sure everything that needs to be covered is attended too. granted, since we’re both gay, it’s not awkward. But I can remember when I competed and my straight roommate was the one I had to stand in front of naked while he painted my tan on me. Good times and good memories! lol
