The weather in Sydney has been erratic at best this summer. I had planned to meet friends at the nude beach today but the weather just didn’t quite come to the party. I’m trying not to complain after I thought about all the nudists on the other side of the world in the middle of cold and snowy winter with little opportunity to get nude, especially outdoors.
What do you northern hemisphere hardened nudies do in the cold months of the year? Feel free to let me know in the comments or send in photos! The idea of the traditional sauna followed by a roll in deep powdery snow actually appeals despite the shrinkage.

I said that we wear clothes, that’s what we do. Or we turn up the heat so we can sit comfortably inside naked. Or we have buddies who are also nudists who come and visit. Or the steam rooms or saunas.
It makes us appreciate summertime that much more. And, besides, being a nudist is not always an external manifestation — sometimes it’s about being a nudist internally that’s sort of fun.
there are some big saunas and swimming pools here in Berlin, two of them are partly open-air, but of course it’s not enough :-/
I usually just nude around the house and look out the window. I do go out nude on a cold nights right after a long, HOT, bath. My body temperature is warm enough to keep me comfortable for about 15 minutes. I love cooling down nude outside. It’s fun to watch the steam rise off my body. I’ve often thought how funny it would be to run down the street naked with the steam rising off of me.
I Philly and Harrisburg (Pennsylvania) we have naked cocktail parties about monthly.
I live in Finland home of the sauna. I went to a smoke sauna (savusauna)Christmas Eve (it is part of the Finnish Christmas custom to go to sauna on Christmas eve) and then went naked into the snow. It was about -30 C It felt so invigorating and refreshing. 2 pics were taken of me so if you want to see a 58 yo naked bear…let me know.
In England ass you rememeber we just get bloody jealous looking at the southern hemisphere guys, and do lots of surfing the net au naturel. There are nude nights organised even in winter but can’t be bovvered sometimes getting there when it’s raining/sleeting/snowing hard. Get to lady jane and keep posting to make us green Brenton

It snowed earlier today in Boston, MA and it looks beautiful outside my window – a regular winter wonderland. I’m getting ready to pop open a bottle of champagne and settle in for a night of watching romantic comedies. Not exactly exciting but precisely how I wanted to spend my evening. Winter hot tubbing is the best outdoor nude activity (when the temps are not warm), especially if the snow is falling. The naked dash from house to tub is chilling, but when you get out of the tub there is no rush. The steam coming off your skin is weird, and it takes a while to cool off from the 104 degree water.
