Today I got a message on my modelmayhem profile (as a photographer) from a young guy in Texas.
The message said “I’m thinkin about travelling to Europe. Can I contact you about that?”
Well I guess he could, but having only travelled there briefly several years ago I’m probably not the best person to ask. Such as indeed. I’m exasperated by the inability of my fellow countrymen to understand basic geography. What a twit.
A few years ago, a young woman in my office (in Arizona) went to Austria on her honeymoon. When she got back, I asked her how it was…she said she was really surprised at all the people over there who were speaking German! I honestly think she expected kangaroos and boomerangs!
A pity we as a society empahsise beauty above intelligence when both are equally amazing to behold
But do we non-US-citizens know all the US States?

@Benjamin, many Americans could not name nor locate all 50 of the States either. At least most people from other countries are more knowledgeable as to where countries such as Austria and Australia are located and what languages are spoken in those countries.
