A couple of days ago I had a comment on the blog saying I should call the blog Anglolicious because “ALL” the guys I post are of anglo origins and between 25 and 30. Without saying as much, the commenter implied racism and agism. While I would have to agree that looking at the blog most of the guys on here probably are of Anglo origins of that rough age group, does that mean I’m racist? Not at all. I would be lying if I said that I find all races equally sexually appealing I certainly don’t value any races or age groups more or less than others.
Growing up in Wollongong, a small town South of Sydney, I was largely surrounded by white people. Wollongong has large pockets of Mediterranean groups, Italians, Greeks, Croatians as well as Lebanese, Serbians and others. It doesn’t have many black people at all and I wouldn’t say it has the Asian population of Sydney, which has a lot of different Asian cultures. So I would reason that my sexual awakenings, and formative years were spent around Anglos. As for the age bracket, have a look around all the blogs. Guys in their 20’s and 30’s are the ones being photographed the most, because they are in their prime and they are just damned hot.
From now on, I’ll make a concerted effort to display a more enthnically and age diverse range of eye candy for you all. They guys above are all photographed by the very talented and uninhibited Mikel Marton.

Brenton: This is your blog. Post what you like. If the critic of your blog points out that you only post Anglo, 25-30ish, then I say so what. There are other blogs out there that cater to older men, or feature older men. There are also blogs that dedicate themselves to the African American and the Asian, and other races. I definitely would not call you racist by any means. You have on several occasions posted minorities.
I love your posts on your art and your photography. I love hearing about your experiences with silks, the Lifesavers, your roommate and your clothing optional adventures and even your excursion to the bath house.
My only wish is that I would like to see more of you. You have such a style and look, I would like to see more of it.
In any case, keep doing what you are doing. If you want to change your colour, lay out naked and get a full body tan. : )
I came to the same conclusion regarding my own Wednesday features of guys. While I am sure it’s not overt racism that causes you to feature mostly white men, there is something to be said for the sin of omission. The bulk of the images out there are of white men, so it is easy to be spoon-fed a steady diet of white beauty. But if you work at it, you can find a fair amount of images that feature truly stunning black, asian and latin men. I make a point of including examples of each in my weekly posts. Might it be a quota system? Maybe, but I also make a point of not just putting in any old pictures of non-white guys that I can scrape together. I have to find them attractive as well. As a result, I have found that my appreciation for non-white men has increased as a side effect.

I’m with the other guys. Post what you like, and ignore the critics. We readers are not a focus group trying to help you come up with the best product. I read your blog (and I suspect others do too) because you provide a unique perspective - I get to see life through your eyes a bit. Keep it up and ignore the critics. If they don’t like what you post, there are other blogs to read.
Gay communities in Australia are multi-racial and there is a big number of gay bi-national/bi-racial couples. Unfortunately, non-white gay individuals are not given much exposure here even by the gay media. Brenton is merely following the mainstream.
By the way, there are tons of nudist gay Asians (ehem ehem).
Brenton, I’m with Shawn, Mike and Eric. It’s your blog — post what you find interesting. Frankly, I had not noticed and bias. I must say, too, that I am not generally attracted to men of color, althouth certain individuals are truely stunning.
Be true to yourself. You’re doing nothing “wrong.”

OH FOR GOD SAKE!! Who gives a toss if you don’t photograph what doesn’t inspire you. Don’t cater to these “PC” guys that wouldn’t date a guy of color, but feel a need to tell you what or who you should be photographing. Maybe it’s just me, but the last time I looked there were more sights to look at than just yours. The “colour” of our blog is hot,sexy and your own. End of chat!

I am amazed that anyone can throw the rascist/ageist claim at you and your site Brenton. Over time I have seen you post pictures of older guys in great physical condition, (and these have encouraged me to accept what is achievable for me in terms of fitness goals, etc). I have seen many “non caucasians.” Whoever threw the insult seems to me to be a casual observer without rather than someone that has looked for a while. At the end of the day, lets face it; some will throw insults for the sheer sake of it.
Please don’t cater for others, this is your blog so cater to your desires, you have a great eye for beautiful images and those of us that keep coming back, come back for your comments and images. And if you are racists and ageist then by condoning your fantastic blog, we must be too - I find that difficult to fathom seems as though I am of mixed race. LOL - NEXT!
