Kylie is in the midst of her first ever North American tour at the moment, and in a true display of why she is different to the likes of Madonna or Britney, when there was technical difficulties, she didn’t storm off the stage in a huff, no, she belted out an acapella version of Your Disco Needs You. Britney doesn’t sing live so that wouldn’t be an option for her and she’d probably be busy with her pussy hanging out anyway. Great work Kylie!
As I told you before, this was the highlight for me of the Chicago show Wed. night. She really impressed me and now I’m a even bigger admirer of Ms. Minogue’s.

And how many times have you seen Madonna storm off stage in a huff due to technical difficulties? I love Kylie, but she is no Madonna. Why do people always need to talk Madonna down in order to bring Kylie up? You rarely see Kylie being mentioned in articles on Madonna. But it seems almost a necessity to talk about Madonna in any Kylie article. Keep them separate, they way they should be.

I didn’t actually say I’d seen Madonna storm off stage. I have to say, I don’t know that she has but you know she’d be furious when she did get off stage.
I agree, Kylie is no Madonna, they are very different performers and that’s a good thing. The likes of Madonna will never be seen again.
i’ve never been too much of a fan of Kylie’s. I’ve always loved her releases, but never bothered to download any or buy an album, but I have sooo much more respect for her now! this is a real show of what a great performer she is!
as a side note I also love Madonna :)

I love Kylie, I love Madge, I love Lady Gaga and (shudder) I love Britney. They are all great on CD, and to different extents, great as performers. I guess it is natural to compare them, but I think they all offer different shows. I’m sure Lady Gaga and Britney look to both Madonna and Kylie as icons, and try to both emulate and surpass them. It is up to us as fan consumers to decide if they succeed (and, I’m sorry, but Britney hasn’t shown her hoo-hoo for a long time; she was K-RAY-ZEE, but isn’t anymore; get over it). And it is also up to us as fan consumers to decide if we want to continue seeing what Kylie and Madonna can show us. I personally think that Kylie is the one that keeps everything fresh, but I must admit that Madonna has been making a concentrated effort, lately. Other than nationality, is there any reason to hate on anyone other than Kylie? She seems to be accepting of all; why not you?
I’ve been present where Britney’s track went back & she did storm off not to come back. So she isn’t a good example.
