This has nothing to do with the above, but Kylie Minogue played the 3rd date of her first ever North American tour tonight in Chicago and we were all out in force to show her some Windy City love. It was a fabulous show and I'm still buzzing about the production values, great sound (even in the barn that is the UIC Pavilion) and the truly fun time we all had. I only hope she enjoyed performing for us. The best part was unscripted. The bass player had a problem and while she waited for it to be fixed a bunch of guys in the front started singing "Your Disco Needs You". She said she would sing a little of it while she waited and she and her 2 back-up singers did the whole song acapella and led a sing-a-long without the band playing. It was awesome. She even included a little of my favorite of hers, "What Do I Have to Do", in the medley of her old hits.
