This morning I noticed a facebook status of one of my friends that peaked my interest. When I did my research, after coming across a few sites that had had the photo removed under legal threat (we’ll see how long this post lasts) I found this shot. Jamie has since admitted that it really is him and he’s more than comfortable with the fact that people are seeing it. Quite frankly, I can see why. Damn he’s hot. Look at that body, the abs, chest, nipples and oh my lordy that delicious looking cock.

I’ve decided that I’m officially way too old to stay in Hostels now. There were people way older than me staying there, but I paid a ridiculous amount of money to get a private room but still had to walk down stairs, across the courtyard and around the corner to go to the shower and bathroom. Not good.
Swimming in all those beautiful waterholes was just torture. I really wanted to strip off and swim nude but didn’t think it would go down too well with the others. Oh well. I did visit Darwin’s nude beach twice but it’s a massive beach and hardly has anyone on it. Sadly it almost exclusively lived up to the cliché of nude beaches being the domain of old guys.
Today once I got home I got under my first really good shower and did my grooming etc that had been neglected while away.
Aussiebum has a new range out and well, it’s another good reason to stare at Andreas’ ample package. They’ve also done a very different promo video for this one but it still retains the cheeky feel of their brand. Very cool.
A while ago I posted a video by Matthew Brown, a friend of the ScenicBoys Dusty and Garet. He makes the most gorgeous videos. He’s done it again with this one called Tides. Enjoy.

Run, don’t walk, down to your travel agency and book a trip through the top end of Australia!
After some initial hiccups like my tour being cancelled, I’ve had the most amazing time up exploring the Northern Territory. I arrived in Darwin on Saturday afternoon last weekend and while I didn’t know what to expect of Darwin I have to say it’s not my cup of tea. Very much developing a niche as a backpacker party town. I rang the tour operators late Saturday to reconfirm my tour only for them to tell me it had been cancelled because there weren’t enough people. They put me on to another slightly different tour that left the day after the initial one. Thankfully I had room at the other end of my trip to fit the different schedule in.
Our tour guide was the most amazing guy. He was only 24 but has an incredible passion for the area, plants, animals and the culture of the traditional owners. Rather than just churning out the same old spiel he filled you with the desire to know more and to respect everything about the area. He really made it more special for most of us.
Some of the sights were just brilliant. I nearly passed out from dehydration on day two, which was a bit embarrassing given that I was one of the fittest there. I think I went a bit hard on the first walk, a steep climb to some pools at the top of the beautiful Twin Falls in Kakadu. After two more walks that day I felt like I was going to pass out and throw up. It was around 35 degrees every day and very dry. I’d actually even drunk 4 litres of water that day. I think it was just the change from cool sydney and sitting in an office.
My favourite location was Maguk or Barramundi Falls. We climbed to the pools above the main falls and gorge and had the place to ourselves for about an hour swimming in the crystal clear deep pools exploring mini waterfalls and little swim through tunnels. Absolutely mind blowingly beautiful. I’ll post more photos over the next couple of days.
After weeks and weeks of blabbering about my holiday, trying to get friends to come along, wistfully dreaming of feeling the sun on my skin the day has come for me to fly to Darwin. I’m packed and it’s probably the lightest I’ve packed for am 8 night trip in my life. I’ll be out in Kakadu National Park for four nights and hiking and swimming in waterholes etc so travelling light is the key.
Winter in Sydney has been very mild this year and not really anything to complain about but if I go too long without real warmth I get edgy. When I booked my flights a couple of months ago I posted on facebook that I’d just bought them and a couple of people I know vaguely asked why on earth I’d fly to Darwin. It’s a mentality I’ve never understood. I know Darwin isn’t thought of as a cultural hub but why WOULDN’T I want to see somewhere new and different other than the oxford street strip which is dirty, tired and unsafe these days? I’m off to explore one of the most rugged parts of the oldest continent. Red earth, wide blue skies, cooling waterholes, beautiful wild birds and animals, the original residents of this country. It’s all waiting for me up there to see and enjoy.
I probably won’t be posting even when I’m back in Darwin on Thursday night, unless I find an internet cafe and write something about what I’ve seen but I won’t be posting pictures until I’m back in Sydney. Have a great week everyone, I’m off to recharge my solar panels!
As we all know I like the idea of social nudity, that’s no surprise. The photo on the left kinda looks like something you’d see in fratpad or sites like that and we just can’t see all the webcams but what’s really going on I don’t know. The photo on the right I’m assuming the boys have been hired to look pretty bartending naked at a party. I certainly wouldn’t mind them serving my drink.
Yesterday was the end of another era for me. My training partner at the gym has a new job outside the city so we won’t be able to workout with each other any more. I’ve made a lot of progress in the last two and a half years or so working out with Craig and it’s going to be hard without him.
I find if I don’t enjoy a workout I find excuses not to go so I am thinking about routines I can do by myself but still enjoy and get results from. So the time has come for me to suck it up and have a go at the 300 workout. Man this shit is going to hurt.
Now, if your friends approached you about building a giant slip’n'slide down a mountain and asked you to land in a kid’s wading pool on the hillside opposite, would you agree? Not me! This is seriously cool but damn I wouldn’t trust any of my friends to get the maths right.
I haven’t posted much this week and I apologise for that. I’ve been busy catching up with family and friends before I go away on Saturday. I just can’t wait to get out of the city and enjoy some down time in the beautiful splendor of nature. I will post a bunch of stuff, important or gratuitous I don’t know yet, but I will make sure there are some bits and pieces for you all to look at while I’m away.
Just because it’s hot… and because I find the idea of wrestling being a blokey sport quite amusing.
It’s only four more sleeps now until I fly out for Darwin and Kakadu and I seriously can’t wait. It’s always exciting getting on a plane and going somewhere new and different. I’m expecting Darwin to be unlike any city I’ve ever spent any time in and Kakadu will be ruggedly stunning. Fingers crossed there are some cool and interesting people to chat to and meet on the tour.
My flat mate’s parents are down for the weekend from a couple of hours away so it works out well that A can sleep in my bed and his parents can sleep in his while they are here for the night. I even promise to change the sheets.
Over our Australian summer I met up with a guy who read my blog from time to time who was going to be in town for a few months. David is an American model and author who was going to be here and we got on well and made good beach buddies. He’s off travelling the world still, doing different places for a few months at a time. Today he emailed me letting me know what he’s been up to, including this video. He did a shoot recently, inspired by Cinema Paradiso. Now I’ve never seen the movie but if it’s anything like this, I’ll have to go see it.
A gunman has opened fire on a gay youth centre in Tel Aviv tragically killing three people and wounding ten more. Australia may have had a National Day of Action for same sex marriage but while we are fighting for marriage equality, in some parts of the world people are fighting for survival.
The best thing to come out of this story is that all over the country after the shooting, Israelis came out in their masses to condemn the attack and show their support for those caught up in the attack.
