A friend of mine has just started this fantastic new business here in Sydney. Need a haircut, wax, or clippering? Then Richard will come around, strip off, or change into sports gear or leathers, depending on your mood and do the job for you in the comfort of your own home. The Naked Barber is a business that was just dying to be started I think.
Guess who is having a haircut on Thursday night? That’s right, yours truly. Richard is going to be giving me a haircut, skin to the wind (because as we know I’m partial to nudity rather than leather) and I’ll let you all know exactly what’s involved.
Now, if I’m truly honest, these guys are too big for my taste but you have to admit they look pretty darned tasty. I’ve used the photo on the far left before on the blog, as gym motivation but I didn’t think anyone would complain about me using it again. Delicious, he’s not too big, he’s perfection.
I know he’s only young, but after stacking on 30lb of muscle for this movie, I feel it would be remiss of me NOT to drool over Taylor Lautner. Check out the body on this guy! I watched Twighlight a few months back and while I liked it, I don’t really get the freaky obsession, but with New Moon featuring hot buff werewolves walking around with their shirts off, I just may buy into the hysteria!
Today has been very slow for me. I got to bed at 2.30am after a really nice dinner at a friends place that, typically, was flowing freely with booze. I made a conscious effort to pace myself and did a reasonable job, but only managed 5 hours sleep before the sun streaming in around the edges of my blinds woke me up. Coffee, coca-cola and mcdonalds have slowly, very very slowly seen me return to some semblance of normality along with the sunshine absorbed while out getting coffee etc.
The dinner party was great, it’s a nice bunch of guys. A couple of times late in the evening the conversation ventured into territory that had potential to become heated but thankfully didn’t. It’s a sign of a good mix of people that those conversations can be challenging in a good way without anyone getting angry.
I think my couch is calling for some more slothful activity.
Most sports stars and celebrities these days are fiercly protected by publicists and managers. Clearly Pele, the original soccer superstar didn’t have those interferences. I am assuming the others in the shot are his fellow players and it’s nice to see that easy comeraderie that teammates have with each other.
A few weeks ago I started to chat to a guy on facebook through mutual friends and he said he was going to regular life drawing classes. He commented that it would be nice to get more male models as most of the models they get are significantly older women. He suggested I model for the class. Now as comfortable nude as I am, being the centre of attention nude, amongst a heap of clothed people isn’t my ideal situation but I did offer to pose for him privately.
So on Thursday night I went over to his place while his flatmates are over in the U.S. at Burning Man festival (so going there next year) and got my gear off and posed. I have to say I have a new found respect for life drawing models. After ten minutes in one position it’s damned painful, especially with your weight on a wrist or something. Obviously you naturally move before you get sore normally, but if someone is trying to draw you, you can’t.
Over her 20+ years in the industry, Kylie has given us many incarnations, Sex Kylie, Pop Kylie, Cute Kylie, Indie Kylie, Showgirl Kylie and now she gives us Bollywood Kylie. This is from a Bollywood project Kylie did a while back. It’s not a long song and I’m not sure this is the whole thing, but it’s a fun slice of Bollywood Pop.
Last sunday saw a beautifully balmy day in Sydney. It reached about 25 degrees Celsius and blue sky as far as you could see. So two friends and I headed off to the nude beach for a few hours and soaked up some sun. I kinda braved the water briefly but that didn’t last long. It is still officially winter after all and the water was bloody cold and not ideal for making a good impression when you come out.
Later that afternoon the three of us headed to the newly opened Korean Baths and had a nude soak in the tubs for a few more hours. It was such a blissfully relaxing way to spend the day. It’s a shame that monday blew all that relaxation out of the water with me having to work until 2.30 am. I kind of reached a delirious tiredness and was dancing around the office waiting for posters to print.
Anyway, I thought the photos above pretty much represented the feeling of last sunday, except that none of us have the bodies of these guys.
Dylan Rosser is set to release his second book, RED, in October and it’s available for pre-order on sites like Amazon. It’s full of luscious imagery of beautiful men and their appendages, lumps and bumps in all the right places. As the press release says, there’s no clothing as such in the book, but he does make use of some fabric from time to time.
So it’s now just after 11.30 pm on Monday night and I’m still at work, just gone 15 hours and counting. Still at least a couple more I think. It would seem odd I know, to spend some time blogging when I’m here this late but I have to wait for big posters to print, then trim them so there are lulls in activity which makes it even more tedious. I finally officially organised our internet at home today. It won’t be fully up and running for a little bit. It’s hard to believe that it can take so long but it does. Oh well, in the mean time I’ll do what I can.
Aussiebum are relaunching their 7 Deadly Sins range of underwear. They are all available in black or white and with 8 different optional logos. They’ve even got a g-string for those guys that like to have something between their cheeks. Those paying close attention to the video will realise the butt in the g-string is none other than the sexy tattoed Jason Beam. Nice arse Jason!
I’m sorry for the break in transmission. We are experiencing difficulties with our internet at home. I hope to have it sorted in a few days! I’ll post as soon as I can.
After two days back at work, and particularly today’s 12 hour effort with a painful client, I really want to go back on holiday and refresh my memory of what it’s like. Yesterday around lunch time I started to feel a head cold coming on and immediately started to curse the highschool brat sitting next to me doing big snotty sniffs and coughing his lungs up for the four hour flight.
I think I need to plan another trip, even just a weekend away camping or something, to give myself something to look forward to.
Through the wonders of facebook, the photography of Kevin McDermott has come to my attention recently and I have to say he does some beautiful work. The guys are beautiful and the photos are stunning with a diversity in location and style but with a consistency in quality.
A reader commented on my complaint that nude beaches are predominantly the domain of older guys. He said that older people have come to terms with their body and it’s flaws and have reached a level of comfort with themselves that we younger guys haven’t reached.
I totally agree with him. I have body issues (decreasing pleasingly as I age) but I haven’t let them stop me getting my gear off on nude beaches since I was 22 or so. Why is it that younger people are so self conscious of being seen nude when in theory, they are the people closer to the popular ideal of beauty? I know peer pressure plays a part but that can’t be all of it. I’m interested to hear your theories and possibly when and why those of you that do go nude, started doing so.
