Firstly let me apologise for the lack of posts over the last few days. We’ve had some internet issues here at the house.
Now on to the cause of my swearing. I was planning on achieving a fair bit this evening at work but had a phone call from my housemate. She’d come home to find the back door wide open and the $300 rent that my other housemate left for me missing from the bench along with the spare set of keys. So right now we are waiting on the police to arrive and the locksmith is doing several hundred dollars worth of lock replacements as I type. It’s going to cost us about $200 each. Shit fuck wank tits. Not happy.
That sucks! Sorry to hear about the break in. I can appreciate that you feel totally invaded. :(

We had a flat mate like that once as well - caught them the third time breeaking in themselves to make it look like the place was robbed. Always did seem dodgy that the rent money was the ONLY thing missing!

Have been broken into….yuk yuk yuk…and yuk for several months. One thing as well, is that many rentals are “uninsurable” as the locks don’t meet the strict requirements of the insurers and so there is the dilemna of paying out the money for a place you don’t own when the landlord is unlikely to fork out the money.

I agree with Mark. You should satisfy yourself that it was a robbery and not a “robbery”.
