It’s time

I have a confession to make. The last couple of weeks I haven’t been very good with the gym, with being away and then just finding excuses. Well no more. Craig, my training partner is back at the gym tomorrow so I’m back too. I’ve got a photo shoot to get ready for in just under three weeks time so I’m trying to eat better and be good at the gym.

If the showers were open like this, I might get my arse to the gym more often. Not only are the showers all becoming individual stalls these days, but now all the steam rooms are going co-ed too. WHY?? It’s just plain uncomfortable sitting in a steam room wearing clingy swimwear or underwear and a towel is just going to be bloody heavy and smelly if it’s in your bag all day in the office.

Co-ed steam rooms are just plain W-R-O-N-G!

Thank G-d that my gym is totally segregated :)

I have the same confession. After a winter-long bout of being very good at the gym/yoga, I have slipped up as of late. Maybe we both need to be spanked??

In Finland towels, swimsuits, shorts are all forbidden in sauna due to hygiene reasons. Everyone has a paper/plastic sheet upon which one sits. Even here in saunaland, there are no coed saunas except if one has one’s own sauna.

LOL. Welcome back to the brotherhood. But actually, I’m surprised Finland’s saunas are not co-ed. Here in Europe, most Latin countries are segregated, but from Switzerland up, I have found them to be co-ed…and nekked. I don’t mind being in naked co-ed saunas (and showers). I DO mind women in “cruising areas” that should be reserved for men, but that’s another story.

Here in the Netherlands most saunas and steam rooms are co-ed, but still naked. I think they should be naked, but co-ed or segregated doesn’t really matter to me. Although segregated sure makes the possibility of ‘spontaneous fun’ more likely.

agree, co-ed doesn’t make sense, glad mine doesn’t do it here in syd. although sunday morning frivolity at the steam room in my gym can be a bit much after a big sat night … (but i like to watch)

Matty, where in Sydney is your gym. I don’t mind watching….
