Not literally on top of her but Lance (as he prefers) has appeared on Oprah talking about what the story of Harvey Milk did for him as a teenager and what he hopes the movie will do for other gay and lesbian kids.

He seems like the kind of man that would be a perfect spokesperson for our community…his real-ness, his humbleness, his heart. I loved listening to him
I agree, Dustin Lance Black has the whole package… For some reason, in the recent years, Oprah rubs me the wrong way . But, boy, DLB is just super charming – soooo much better than Sean Penn.
That said, I also agree with some critics – in the US, the concentration on gay marriage is verging on counter-productive for the overall gay rights movement. The misrepresentation of gay marriage as the “last” gay issue/barrier is forcing other critical issues (eg. gay teens & seniors support, homophobic attacks, unequal treatment in the medical community, the international systematic homophobia and discrimination, etc.) to fall by the wayside. It whole thing feels like 2 steps forward, 1 step back…
Anyway, leaving this on a lighter and very gay note… did you all notice DLB’s apartment??? So well decorated… and from the little bit I can see – so clean!!! I’m so impressed; I think I’m crushing… lol *blushing and scratching my head* Cheers.
