It’s been talked about and promised for a very long time but tomorrow night, I’m finally doing my first solo pole routine at El Circo at Slide. Today was the last rehearsal and I got R to video it on my phone for me to put it up here. I am fully aware it’s a little rough around the edges but I’d just come from a rehearsal for the aerialize show as well. I promise I’ll polish it up a bit tomorrow night.
It’s short and sweet but I’m happy with it. There was another run through before this one but I was rushing it and then hadn’t planned on the technical aspects of the kilt. It got stuck between my legs and the pole at one point and I slid towards the ground into my handstand MUCH faster than planned. Thank goodness for rehearsals hey?

I can’t believe you get your legs over your head WITH BOOTS ON!!!! You must be as strong as an ox! Most impressive! I saw hardly any flaws and I think you will wow them at Cirque. Sexy routine too! I have to agree, that you are not wearing the kilt in the traditional manner.

Great pole routine Brenton!!! I’m a big fan of Cirque Du Soleil and I love all the routines including the poles.
Love the kilt!!!! Although technically, you’re not supposed to wear anything under a kilt, I guess that would expose a little too much!

Rehearsing is good…especially if one wants to actually improve….yeah, it’s pretty important! You’re looking great… I love that you participate in something that no one else I know does. That’s very cool. Also cool is the fact that I ordered another whole slew of Aussiebum skivvies yesterday!!!
Awesome routine and great show. Looks totally butch when you do things in the kilt and boots. You will kick major ass with the show.
