I’m throwing down a new challenge. There are so many talented, creative, witty, bizarre people out there and these days just about everyone has access to a webcam, video camera or even a phone with video capability. So, inspired by the likes of Scenic Boys who make great videos and the myriad of quirky and beautiful things on youtube, I’m holding the first annual Aussielicious Film Festival.
I want you all to send in your videos, preferably uploaded to Youtube or Dailymotion, making them embeddable so I can post them here. They need to come in under two minutes. The theme? I want you to make a short film that captures your personal definition or understanding of the word Aussielicious. I don’t mean this blog, just the word and what it means to you. Below is one of the ways I interpret Aussielicious, it’s me, and it’s nude and it’s the Aussie sunshine.
Here are the rules. It must be under two minutes, contain no explicit content (ie hard ons), be submitted by midnight Friday 31 October Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time and be entertaining. Entries will be posted on Aussielicious for the world to see.
Website Samesame today posted an article suggesting that aussieBum was very close to signing a sponsorship deal to make Matthew Mitcham the face (and butt?) of their brand. I think the two are a perfect fit.
Unfortunately, after being in touch with aussieBum today, they denied a deal is done or close to being done. They are very proud of Matthew and his stunning victory in Beijing, but Matthew isn’t even back in Australia yet and hasn’t spoken to anyone about a deal. He has signed with a management agency, but no deals are done yet. But I think I speak for all of us when I say I’m seriously looking forward to the aussieBum shoots that may hopefully happen in the future with the sexy Matt.
We haven’t started making plans yet but a couple of friends and I are almost certainly going to Burning Man 09. Another friend has just been to this year’s event and said it’s just wild. SO I’ve just done a quick search for videos on youtube of this year’s event. This guy has taken some really cool photos and put them all together. Enjoy.
Nearly an hour ago Marco Dapper officially became the favourite DNA Coverboy of Aussielicious readers in the second Aussielicious Awards. Out of the 755 votes over the past week, Marco took 32% of them leading clearly from the outset.
Personally, Marco is a guy that is to be admired. Prior to his famous frontal nude scene in Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds, he freely admits he was a homophobe and had homophobic friends. Then as he pursued acting he decided to challenge his beliefs with the role of the bi-curious lust object of pretty much the rest of the cast. He lost friends over the role because they couldn’t understand how he could do it. You have to admire someone who challenges their perceptions of life so enthusiastically.
Marco was photographed for DNA’s issue number 86 by the Aussie-living-in-LA Lewis Payton who captured his stunning body beautifully, although with someone as hot and spectacularly put together as Marco, that wouldn’t be hard. Congratulations Marco on becoming the second Aussielicious Awards winner.
I woke up this morning and was just sorting out what to do with my day when my dearest friend in the world called asking what I was doing for lunch. So my plans to find a couple of things that I needed and some other bits and pieces that needed doing have just gone out the window. I’ve just spent a couple of hours with my friend who is going through some troubles in her marriage, so it was really nice to be able to just chat and hang out. She had her two young kids with her, so after a couple of hours of Miss 5 year old wildly fluctuating from being cute, to throwing a tantrum and back and forth I’m exhausted.
Fortunately I’ve got a free massage in an hour. We love that. Apparently by me letting him practice on me when he was studying massage I was doing him a favour and he owes me. I say, bring it on. If anyone else wants me to volunteer for such an arduous task, I’m very generous like that.
So no beach for me today. Don’t you just love this photo of Gay Porn tough guy Jake Deckhard playing in the sand innocently like a child? So sexy.
Sorry for being MIA yesterday but I had a long work day and then we went out for a few bunch of drinks and dinner afterwards. I didn’t get home til late so that’s why there was no posting yesterday.
Today I was so keen to get to the beach and I had a great few hours lying nude in the sunshine. SO good to warm the flesh. Delicious.
Let’s all give praise and thanks to aussieBum for finally blessing us with a wallpaper for our computers with the delicious, tantalising, beautiful buttocks of Toby. It’s made my week. They’ve now got a few wallpapers available for download on their Auslife page. Oh Toby, get rid of the swimming costume around your neck and turn around!
If someone’s going to kick your ass then it’s the least they can do to show you all their junk while they beat you to a pulp. Looks like all that jumping around is keeping him fit. Actually fighting someone nude could prove dangerous to the goods though.
I’ve been an athletic and sporting person for my entire life. Dabbling in lots of sports, excelling in none but holding my own. Swimming has been the predominant one but there’s been tennis, rowing, gymnastics as well as rock climbing and other bits and pieces.
One thing I’ve never done is have any formal dance lessons and watching So You Think You Can Dance is just so inspiring and beautiful. For people to have that much control over their bodies and to be able to move with such grace is gorgeous and awe inspiring. I will admit to being more drawn to the slightly quirkier routines. Ballroom and Latin do nothing for me.
Just a half way point reminder to you all to go here and vote for your favourite DNA Coverboy if you haven’t already. All five of them are spectacular examples of men and blinding evidence of discipline and good genetics. They are also just good old fashioned eye candy.
The weather is predicted to be fantastic this saturday and I’m going to be nude in that sunshine. It’s been way too long since I’ve felt the warming rays of the sun on my butt. I know there are a couple of regular readers that have seen me down at my favourite nudie beach, and I hope maybe this little blog has encouraged more people to get their gear off in the sunshine.
For those of you that have never tried being nude on the beach or socially, but are interested, give it a go. Being nude with your mates is liberating and even though I don’t know of anyone that is 100% happy with their body, there is a level of acceptance that you get from letting it all hang out and just resigning yourself to the fact that it’s there. Besides, does it really make any difference to your life if someone’s seen your cock?
Tonight was the last class of the term for aerial silks which is a bit of bad timing because in about 3 weeks I have my first ever public performance. The Lifesavers with Pride are having a fundraising party at Slide nightclub on October 3rd and I’m doing a silks show. Tonight, being the last class of term, we performed our routines for each other. At the start of the class we practiced and I was worried because I couldn’t muster the energy to get through the routine but after a rest and a bit more stretching I managed to pull it off quite well I think.
I started the day with some gratuitous hotness in Leighton Stultz, then I dragged the tone right down (pun intended) with my terrifying turn in pink tulle. So to make it up to you all I thought I’d end my day sharing a few beautiful images that I’ve collected over the past few weeks. Beautiful for different reasons, there is no doubt that they are each quite beautiful. I hope everyone has had a little bit of beauty in their day.

As you can see moving from left to right, the evening did degenerate a bit once the heels started hurting our feet and the punch gave us a K.O. hit. I still haven’t laughed that much in ages.
