This morning sees the official start of Spring here in Australia and I’m looking forward to the weather that may possibly bring. The sky is blue here and hopefully it’s not going to be too cool today.
Yesterday was one of those days where you don’t qute know what to do with yourself. There was lots of just hanging around at home. I finally finished off the third book in the Golden Compass trilogy. It’s not that I’m particularly dim or anything, I just don’t often pick the books up.

I FINALLY got to the beach the other day….and burned the hell out of my chest and stomach. It was a great day, though.
Whenever I read posts about your winter blues, I don’t know if I should be jealous or annoyed. What’s so bad about a winter in Sydney? What, you need to wear a light jacket for a month and maybe carry an umbrella once a week? Boo-hoo. Try living someplace like Chicago or New York or Boston. Autumns here are gorgeous, but once December sets in, we face *real* winter: four months of darkness, grey skies, sleet, snow, ice and freezing temperatures. OK, I’m jealous.
