WE finally have some stuff circulating from the 2009 Dieux Du Stade calendar. Check out this video from behind the scenes, especially around the 1:52 mark where, for fans of twins, there are nude twins, hugging! The 2009 Calendar is shot by Peter Lindbergh and they’ve gone back to simple setups in a return to the kind of imagery that made the 2004 version so famous. Love it.
This is just a reminder for you all to get working on your Aussielicious Film Festival entries. We’ve only had one so far. You’ve got a month to get them in and I’m expecting some great ones, given the creativity I see out there in the blog world. It could be something like the one below, but maybe with a bit more storyline? Who knows, your interpretation of the word Aussielicious is up to you.
The U.S. version of Make Me a Supermodel seems to have been so much cooler than our bland, undercooked stew of mediocrity. Sure Tyson was here for a bit but now we are left with episodes where nothing really seems to happen apart from a bunch of bitching and an average photoshoot.
Why can’t they be like this. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rhys and Billy and Isaac getting down like this. It’s funny how the boys keep playing gay in this clip even after the shoot has ended. Very cute.
A few weeks ago I had an email from a reader who was cleaning out his cupboards and found a special edition of Stern magazine. It’s a photographic portfolio of Bruce Weber from February 2005 that are either going for a sizeable chunk of cash on Amazon or just plain unavailable. He thought I’d appreciate it more than he would as he hadn’t looked at it in ages.
It arrived yesterday and it’s stunning. It is filled with beautiful images from the iconic image maker, including the stunning series of the Carlson Twins nude, above. I want to say a huge thank you to you Peter, it’s an incredibly generous gift! It’s going to take pride of place in my collection!

About an hour ago I got home from my last chance to rehearse the routine for Friday’s party. Keep in mind watching this video I wasn’t concentrating too much on the faffy little moves between tricks or holding the positions but just getting through the whole thing and doing the tricks properly. There will be another video taken on the night and fingers crossed there will be a marked contrast. I’m nervous about the first public performance but more about the possibility of wardrobe malfunctions.

Firstly I need to apologise, the Aussielicious server has been down for a bit but thankfully it seems to be back up and running. Our weekend away was a bunch of fun and apparently we’ve converted a couple of social nudity virgins. We played pool and turned it, after several drinks, into strip pool. If you sink the white ball or one of your opponents balls accidentally you have to remove an article of clothing and if you sink the black ball before you are supposed to, everything has to come off.
We had laughs, sunshine, sunbathing and just a nice weekend away.
The last month or more has seen me be a big pile of lazy when it comes to training at the gym. I have a training buddy who pushes me when I bother turning up but lately that hasn’t been as often as I’ve been sleeping in. I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t been enjoying the routine we’ve been doing or just one of those phases.
In theory it should be easier to get up at 5.40 am as it’s light at that time now and it’s warmer too. So why the laziness? Who knows. From now on, I’m going to regularly post inspiration photos to give myself a kick in the bum. I need to fix my diet and my training. Here’s the first piece of inspiration. It’s good that he’s keeping warm!
I probably won’t get a chance to post tomorrow, Friday here in Sydney as I’m heading out of town tomorrow evening for a quiet weekend away with a few mates. There are a couple of guys I don’t know but considering they are friends of my good mates, they can’t be all bad.
Unfortunately only half of us are nudies so I don’t think there will be much nude time although there is a nudie beach nearby that we may visit. I haven’t done it anywhere near enough, but getting out of the city for a few days is always good and I’m really looking forward to it but it does mean that there won’t be any posting over the weekend.
Thinking about my performance next week and the wardrobe disaster that was my tarzan routine (below) I’ve been nervous. At the request of one of the organisers I’m going to be performing in just a pair of aussieBums. So I’ve been thinking I need to find a g-string to keep everything secure and safe while i’m performing. There is a strong sense of irony that it’s an absolute pain in the arse to find a man’s g-string.

Money raised will not only go towards our float in next years parade, but also help gay and lesbian lifesavers with their training fees etc. It’s going to be a great night with DJ’s Luna T and Miss Kitty Glitter.
I’ve just come home from rehearsing my routine for my first public performance and I’m not quite as terrified as I was last week. If you are a regular reader of the blog and are there on the night, say hi, I try and be very friendly, but while I’m dangling from the roof might not be the best time. I’ve also hijacked the evening and am using it as a birthday celebration for my 35th (holy crap I never thought I’d make it) on 7th. I hope to see you all there! Out of the entries submitted by the deadline in a bit over a month’s time, I’ll choose 5 finalists for the winner to be voted by me. I’m yet to determine a prize, but I’m working on it!
Damn those folks over at aussieBum! They keep coming out with stuff that I don’t need, but really want. The new Parallel range is modelled by the same guy we saw in the Vintage range of undies. Would you believe he’s only 19? And he’s one of the Gladiators here in Australia. How do you look like that at 19? I personally blame the steroids in the chickens, but where do you get them?
And I love what the pouch is doing up front!
