Dancing with the stars is shortly about to shimmy it’s way back onto our TV screens with a, thankfully, new host, the hot Daniel Macpherson. One of the celebrities about to flex his dancing muscles is AFL star, Collingwood player, Paul Licuria.
He’s one of the glamour boys of AFL but from what I can see he actually has a bit of talent on the field. I may actually tune in to one or two of the shows to see how he goes and see if he matches his former team mate Brodie Holland’s outfits on the show a couple of years ago.

Paul is one of the most articulate and intelligent AFL players. He has written very pro-gay comments in his newspaper column in the past, and once berated fellow players for their homophobic attitudes. I wrote a response to that editorial, thanking him for his honesty and being mature enough to speak out on a topic that many heterosexual men would avoid for fear of being branded ‘gay-friendly’. I would actively encourage all readers of this site to throw in a few votes each week to support him in return.
