Today has been a much more pleasant day. The sun has been out, even if it still isn’t hot yet, and it’s been a day in stark contrast to the debacle that was yesterday or last night actually.
This afternoon I FINALLY started working with my teacher to choreograph my solo pole dancing routine. It’s only a bit over two minutes but they are an action packed two minutes. My costume is being made and should be ready in a couple of weeks.
Tonight I’m off to have a pleasant and relaxed evening just hanging out nude with a few mates over a few drinks. Should be good.
And one of us! Will Young was the first Idol winner anywhere in the world, in the UK’s Pop Idol in 2002. I was living in London at the time and I have to say always fancied him a bit. He’s a Political Science graduate but has done so well releasing consistently high quality, smooth, cool music with his distinctive voice just making you feel good.
His new song “Changes” lives up to the standard set by his earlier work. Let’s just see if it gets released in Australia. None of his other stuff has been as yet.
I’ve learned in the past not to blog when I’m mad so I’m going to just chill out for a bit and may not blog until tomorrow. I’ve been messed around this evening and I’m not happy. So enjoy the nude guy and we’ll catch up in the morning!
Tonight is the first real episode of the Aussie version of “Make me a Supermodel” and I have to say that I don’t think Tyson Beckford has anything to worry about from these guys. Sure some of them are really hot but some of them think they are already at the top of the heap and don’t need to listen and others are just not comfortable looking in their skin.
Tyson was interviewed on the radio here in Sydney this morning and I have to say I agree with him when he said the girls have got it all sewn up. I can’t tell what they are looking for and maybe they don’t know yet but the variety in just the bodies of the guys is wildy different.
Australian actor Mark Priestly from the TV drama All Saints (above centre with his colleagues) has apparently tragically committed suicide. He’s suffered depression for some time. He left work early two days ago because of his depression and colleagues were worried about him. His body was found on a building awning after he allegedly threw himself off the building. Please, if anyone is suffering from depression and thinks there is no alternative, there is. There is always someone to talk to no matter what you are going through. Everyone has dark moments, please deal with them in a healthy way.
Matthew Mitcham has caused quite a stir without even realising it. Firstly he comes out with a harmless comment about his boyfriend in an interview a few months ago and now the head of NBC has apologised to Matthew. Matthew was about the only gold medallist who wasn’t covered in their coverage of the olympics.
They have said it was an accidental omission but it does stink of homophobic editing. Read the full article here.
In related news, it turns out that our Golden Boy lives literally around the corner from where I work. Like 75 metres from my office. The cafe there has balloons and posters etc up around congratulating Matt the “local boy”. So I asked if he lived in the area. She pointed up and said in the apartments upstairs! How cool would it be to be able to congratulate him personally. I’d love to interview him too.
DNA’s new issue is out with the very tasty Bryan Thomas inside and on the front cover. This guy has such a hot body and looks fantastic all wet in the shower too! We all know I love a man in the shower. As usual with DNA there is a bunch of other really great stuff inside, but I got distracted for a bit.
I’ve only recently upgraded to the new version of Wordpress on the blog and posting photos isn’t quite as simple as it was previously. There is an extra little thing that I hadn’t been doing so that you could all click the images to enlarge them. Sorry about that. I’ve gone back and fixed the last few posts so you can see in graphic detail just how low the guy’s balls hang in the previous post!
We are still officially in the last few days of Winter here in Australia but the signs of summer are on the way. It’s not dark when I leave work anymore. It’s going to be great to come home from work and still have the option of going down for a swim at the beach or enjoy a bit of warm daylight of an evening.
This summer I hope we get hours and hours of nude sunshine time at the beach. I’m sick of being pale and having to rug up.
While Daniel Macpherson was out in front in the voting last week for the hottest Aussie, I managed to get in touch with his PR person and send off some questions for an interview. Now that Anthony has officially been crowned the hottest Aussie I want to try and get an interview with him but his official site doesn’t have any contact details, or even seem to get updated very often. Does anyone reading this have any ideas?
For those of you that think I’ve been harsh on Anthony, don’t doubt for a second that I think he’s hot, he’s just not the typical blog muscle guy fodder that gets the votes in these competitions and I think it’s refreshing. Can you imagine staring into his big brown eyes while he sang to you? God I can.
A few years ago, when Blade 2 came out, I saw in the credits that Luke Goss was the actor playing the bad guy vampire. So I looked up online that it was the same Luke Goss. Now, I see he’s playing the evil dude in Hellboy 2. Luke was part of the twins-plus-one-boy-band called Bros. He and his twin brother Matt probably served to implant the hot idea of twins in my head. There were rumours everywhere about them being gay and getting it on together. They were part of the music by numbers 80’s era with big shoulder pads and cheesy lyrics that got us all hooked. Luke has made a relatively successful career on the stage and big screen for himself and obviously decided that making himself unrecognisable as the baddie in supernatural sequels was the way to go. When he’s not covered in costume makeup he’s looking good I have to say. Definitely one of those guys where “character lines” are working well.
Season three is here for the regular Teamm8 team. Head on over and vote for your favourite. Will it be another win for Jason (far right) or has has his run of luck ended with the HUGE new tattoo on his back? This season sees the launch of their new swim styles, so I’m guessing that’s why they are all standing in water. I wonder if they helped dry each other off?
Out of all the success stories from the Olympics, I think Matthew Mitcham has captured the imagination of the country. He’s one of our unexpected Golds. He was gunning for a medal but with the Chinese aiming for a clean sweep, his chances of taking Gold weren’t as good as perhaps we hoped.

In a late surge of votes the Hottest Aussie has been decided. Anthony Callea has taken out the very first Aussielicious Award and shows that it’s not always the typical stunners that take out the crown. Anthony first won me over with the performance below as a contestant in the second series of Australian Idol. His performance had me in tears. Anthony is only 5′1″ from what I understand but he’s sexy, articulate and out and proud. He’s also obviously got some enthusiastic fans who voted with gusto in this poll.
It’s good timing too. Australian Idol starts another season tonight and if the hype is to be believed, they have uncovered some fantastic talent and fingers crossed, some hotties.

What a great way to start the day, finding out that our openly gay Olympic diver, Matthew Mitcham has taken out gold in the 10m platform diving competition over night, putting an end to the ideas of a chinese clean sweep of the diving pool. I watched the semi finals yesterday and Matthew was in spectacular form. According to this report, Matthew had a couple of dodgy early dives in the finals but came back with several tens to take out the competition! Congratulations Matthew, we are so proud. I’m even more proud that you can stand up and publicly thank your partner Lachlan, and that it’s not sensationalised!
