Nearly two years ago I left my last full-time job because it was stressing me out and getting me down so much I couldn’t have been far from making myself sick. Since then there have been some very lean times with flurries of work and dry patches as well, a bit like my sex life, but thankfully not as many dry spells.
I’ve been freelancing at a small agency 15 minutes from home for a couple of months and this week they put me on permanently. Yay for me! We love the idea of a regular income and the opportunity to learn a lot and work with some really nice people. It feels like I’ve dived in the deep end a little but I’m a strong swimmer.
