I think I’ve found it.

After the wardrobe malfunction fiasco that was my Tarzan Routine for aerials class I launched a search to find some music suitable for a routine. It had to be slower than the tarzan routine but still with moments of drama and variation. It’s been decidedly more difficult than I thought but I think I’m going to work up a routine to “Roxanne de Tango” from Moulin Rouge. This video has more dialogue and extra bits than the audio I tracked down. It still might be a bit much but for this term I think that’s what I’m going to focus on.

Good luck with your routine. This is my absolute favourite scene from Moulin Rouge.

    Hi Brenton

I just wanted to suggest another bit of Music you might like to listen to. It is the tracks Gothica and Fleurs Du Mal (Flowers of Pain) from Sarah Brightman’s Symphony Album. (gothica is the 30s album intro). It hasn’t much traction yet but I believe that once the World Tour Starts and the US DJs get the remixes released to them you will hear more of it.

To give you an idea she sang it (pre album Launch) at Fashion on Ice late last year with US Olympic Ice Skaters ‘dancing’ to it. in the absence of an official video clip this is amazing.

    Anyway I’ve jabbered along enough

    Enjoy
