Today was one of the coldest days for 2008 so far here in Sydney. Now by the standards of a lot of parts of the world it would be considered warm, but here a top temperature of 14 degrees celsius (57 farenheit) is considered bloody cold.
Unlike the guy in this photo, I’m wearing way more than I would ideally like to. I’m such a summer kinda guy and the house I live in isn’t toasty warm. Like England is not equipped for summer with airconditioning, most of Australia is not equipped to deal with cold weather.
Like you Brendon, I hate cold weather too, but it’s summer in the North Hemisphere, lol and 46C or 116 F is way to HOT for me. could stay a high of 95 and low of 70 year round for me. Keep warm mate.
Sorry for the spelling of your name.
Any consolation, Brenton….too bloody cold to swim at the beach on the Gold Coast!!! People might buy frozen bait but there is no use for frozen tackle!!
It’s pouring down, grey and miserable in London right now. But it’s 21C. This is summer in the UK. I’m sure it was sunny one day last week…
I have to laugh. I was born and raised in the suburbs of L.A. but I moved to the Cleveland area 14 years ago. And we went through a three day blizzard with 8 foot snow drifts just back in March, with temps of around 20 ( - 7 C). Do know how much I would have LOVED a day at the 57 (14 C) mark back then?? And even more so, I love going back home to L.A. at Christmas time and hearing my sisters complaining that it is “freezing” at 9pm because it’s 55 (13 C) outside and I’m out in a T-shirt thinking, “Oh, man it is so NICE out here right now!!”
