This is the “lamest” excuse that I have EVER HEARD! What a loser is this guy. Dump the bum. What a tool! For God’s sake what happened to the saying “to thine ownself be true”? Why couldn’t he just say “look Brenton you are a nice guy but at this stage I’m not up to dating with you. This is about me and has NOTHING to do with you at all”. That would been a better way (more honest) of approaching the matter. Good luck in the future.

No, suggesting therapy would be in order here. Not only will it be a nice way for you to vent; if done properly it may actually help the idiot sap for not recognizing what a great man he has in front of him. Still run away from the bastard afterwards; but, you’ll be helping him, while being at peace & dying with laughter on the inside. Courage is the ability to tactfully take action without regard to honor or shame.
