Today I’m heading up the coast about an hour and a half for the traditional family easter getaway. Our family, along with two other families, who are more like family than my real extended family, have been going away together at easter since all our parents were newlyweds.
We’ve been going to a seaside town for the last few years because it’s simple now that my sister and some of the other “kids” have children of their own. It’s not particularly exciting but we have a really good laugh. It’s like a soul food kinda break.
So the blog will be kinda quiet til I get back on Tuesday as I won’t have any internet access.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family. I think it is great that you take time out to spend with them. Make memories now and they will last a lifetime. Times like that are good for the soul. Love the blog - keep up the great work.

Brenton, you’ve lived in both hemispheres. Personally I think Easter in autumn must be pretty weird as it (from a religious sense) is all about new life and growth, but what do you think.
