Random bits and pieces

What broke my heart today?
Hearing my 5 year old nephew has been in tears the last two days when my sister has dropped him off at school. He’s not enjoying it.

What made me laugh today?
Reading a quote from Calvin & Hobbes “It’s hard to believe in religion when some people aren’t incinerated by lightening.”

What I’m loving?
Trapeze class last night, silks class tonight and  really looking forward to  Mardi Gras rehearsals starting on Thursday night. Especially looking forward to seeing if there are any hotties in the parade.

No way! Children crying? No, no no. It’d break me up too. Again, I’ve said it before, I love the energy and spirit you exude for the different classes and learning you allow yourself to be open to and involved with. Fantastic.

I can so relate to your nephew. I hated 1st grade and caused a scene one day because I didn’t want to get out of the car. I hope things get better for him.

    “rehearsals start Thursday night”!

You’ve missed the boat a bit - it’s Mardi Gras today (yesterday for you). The only time in my life when it falls on my birthday.

I had terrible separation anxiety when I was a little kid. Never for school but for summer day camp. I would get to the camp and just cry all day.

Chris, I think they do Mardi Gras differently in Australia.

The Calvin and Hobbes quote made my day. Who could not agree? Thanks and can’t wait to join you for Mardi Gras in Australia.
